(FORMERLY T. PERUN) PART LOT 31, CONCESSION 3, DARLINGTON FILE: 18T-77041 RECOMMENDATIONS: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1. THAT Report PD-286-86 be received; and * 2. THAT the attached by-law authorizing execution of a Subdivision Agreement between Merika Investments Inc. and the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle be approved; and 3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the Subdivision Agreement between Merika Investments Inc. and the Town of Newcastle at such time as an Agreement has been finalized to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works and the Director of Planning. BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: Staff would note for the Committee' s information that the Plan of Subdivision originally received draft approval on August 15, 1984. Among the conditions of approval was the requirement that the Owner agree, in writing, to satisfy all the requirements, financial . . .2 REPORT NO.: PD-286-86 Page 2 / and otherwise, of the Town of Newcastle concerning the provisions of roads, installation of services and drainage. Staff would note that the Owners of the subject lands have, in consultation with Staff, submitted a Subdivision Agreement for approval and execution by the Town. In order to facilitate execution of the agreement, an Authorizing * By-law, as attached hereto, is submitted for Committee' s consideration. The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle hereby enacts as follows; 1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle, and seal with the Corporation's seal , an Agreement between Merika Investments Inc. and the said Corporation dated the day of 1986, in the form attached hereto as Schedule 1. THAT Schedule "X" attached hereto forms part of this by-law.
