REPORT NO.: PD-109-86 Page 2
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
On April 10, 1986, Staff received a request from Mr. Alan Berk acting on
* behalf of Gatehouse Holdings Limited (see attached) , for an exemption
from Part Lot Control with respect to the lots within the draft plan of
subdivision which are zoned to permit "link homes".
Staff would note for the Committee' s information that the required
Subdivision Agreement pertaining to Phase II developments has been
forwarded to the applicant for its proper execution and is anticipated to
be returned shortly for the Town's execution and subsequent registration.
With respect to the Part Lot Control exemption request, Staff would have
no objection to same, noting that pursuant to the provisions of Section
49(5) and 49(7) prior to the passing of the requested by-law, the Plan of
Subdivision being the M-Plan is to be properly registered on title.
Accordingly and in order to facilitate conveyance of title of the
individual units located on the lots in question, Staff would have no
objections to the approval of the Part Lot Control By-law subject to the
conditions as noted within Staff's recommendations.
