RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD-141-86 he received; and
2. THAT the application submitted by Mr. & Mrs. M. Prazienka to rezone a parcel of
land located in Part Lot 10, Concession 3, former Township of Dar•linoton to permit
the development of a Node/Cl uster• he received and referred to Staff "or nr•ocessing
and a subseouent report and nuhlic meetino.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
On May 8, 1.986, the Planning Department received an application for rezoning from Mr. &
Mrs . M. P r•azi enka to ner•mi t the development of a Node/C1 uster.
The application has been circulated, in accordance with departmental procedure, to various
agencies and Town departments for their comment . It is noted for the Cmmittee's
information that, pursuant to the requirements of the Planning Act, the application has
been scheduled for a public meeting July 7, 1986 .

The Town of Newcastle Planning and Development Committee is considering an
application for an amendment to Zoning By-law # 84-63 and, pursuant to its
procedure for processing applications, wishes to obtain your comments before
submitting its recommendations to the Town of Newcastle General Purpose and
Administration Committee.
