By-Law # MEETING: General Purpose and Administration Committee DATE: Monday, June 2, 1986 REPOT #: PD-148-86 FILE #: 18T-81025 SUBJECT: KIDDICORP INVESTMENTS LIMITED (FORMER EAST WOODBRIDGE DEVELOPMENTS) PLAN OF SUBDIVISION 18T-81025 PROPOSED REVISIONS - LOTS 44 to 58 (INCLUSIVE) RECOMMENDATIONS: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1. THAT Report PD-148-86 be received; and 2. THAT Council adopt the following resolution: "THAT the cot-r-espondence from the Region of Durham dated April 28, 1986 be received and the Region of Durham be advised that the Cor•por•ation of the Town of Newcastle has no objections to the proposed revisions to Lots 44 through 58 (Inclusive) as illustrated on the attached draft IOM Plan to permit the development of link homes pending the availability of servicing."; and 3. THAT Kiddicor•p Investments Limited be so advised. BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: By cot-r-espondence dated Apt-i1 28, 1986 and r-eceived by Staff Apr-i1 30, 1986 the Regional Municipality of Durham advised that a request for- a revision to the draft plan of subdivision had been submitted and, fur•ther•mor•e, would request the Town' s consideration of same. Additionally, Halminen Homes, by coy-r-espondence , indicated that the requested change was to permit the development of link units on Lots 44 to 58 (inclusive) . Staff following a review of the request, in consultation with the Works Department pertaining to . . .2 REPORT NO. : PD-148-86 Page 2 potential number of entrances and location of same and the Region of Durham Works Department pertaining to service capacities, would have no objections to the requested revisions permitting the development of link units.
