PROPOSED REVISIONS
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD-71-86 be received; and
2. THAT the proposed red-line revisions requested by D.G. Biddle and Associates, by
letter of February 18, 1986, on behalf of Remlark Holdings Limited, be approved and
that the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and the Regional Municipality of
Durham be so advised.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
It is noted for the Committee's information that a request was made of Staff for a
preliminary comment in respect of additional lands acquired by Remlark Holdings through
the Land Division Committee for inclusion within their draft plan of subdivision. A copy
* of the proposed red-line revision is attached hereto for Committee's information.
Staff would have no objections to the proposed revision which is consistent with the
intent of the Official Plan and the Town's Zoning By-law and therefore recommend that the

Dear Ms. Gustayson;
We enclose herewith, five (5) prints of a revised Plan of Subdivision for the
above noted development.
The purpose of this revision is to include some additional lands that the
owner has recently purchased at the north limit of the plan, being lots 70
to 83 inclusive.
We have recently discussed this revision with the Town of Newcastle and
the Region of Durham and they have advised that they would have no
objections to this proposal being included in the origianl draft plan approval
as a red-line amendment.
