FOSTER CREEK DEVELOPMENTS LIMITED
PART LOTS 29 & 30, CONCESSION 1, NEWCASTLE VILLAGE
RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following:
I . THAT Report PD-67-86 be received; and
2. THAT the Ministry of Municipal Affairs be advised that the Town of Newcastle has no
objection to the extension of draft approval for Plan of Subdivision 18T-19720 for
a further one year period to March 30, 1987; and
3. THAT Foster Creek Developments Limited be advised of Council's decision.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
The draft approval of Plan of Subdivision 18T-19720, located in Part Lots 29 and 30,
Concession 1, Newcastle Village, is due to expire on March 30, 1986. Staff note that a
portion of this plan has been registered (Plan IOM-767) and is currently being developed.
As well, Council has recently approved amendments to the draft approved plan to permit the
construction of link dwellings and to revise the boundaries of the park and open space
blocks . As authorized by Council, Staff is currently preparing amendments to the

Subdivision Agreement with Foster Creek Developments Limited to accommodate
these revisions.
Given that Foster Creek Developments Limited is actively working on this

plan of subdivision, it is recommended that the Ministry of Municipal
Affairs be advised that the Town of Newcastle has no objection to the
extension of draft approval of Plan of Subdivision 18T-19720 for a further
one year period to March 30, 1987.
