SUBJECT: REZONING APPLICATION - 464367 ONTARIO LIMITED
PART LOT 11, CONCESSION 4, FORMER TWP. OF DARLINGTON

RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD-61-86 be received; and
2. THAT the application submitted by Mr. Bob Craig, on behalf of 464367 Ontario
Limited, to rezone a parcel of land located in Part Lot 11, Concession 4, former
Township of Darlington to permit the development of a Node/Cluster be received and
referred to Staff for processing and a subsequent report and public meeting.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
On February 24, 1986, the Planning Department received an application for rezoning from
Mr. B. Craig to permit the development of a Node/Cluster.
The application has been circulated, in accordance with departmental procedure, to various
agencies and Town departments for their comment. It is noted for the Committee' s
information that, pursuant to the requirements of the Planning Act, the application has
been scheduled for a public meeting April 21, 1986.

Accordingly, it is recommended that the application be received for
information and referred back to Staff for the preparation of a subsequent
report.

The Town of Newcastle Planning and Development Committee is considering an
application for an amendment to Zoning By-law #84-63 and, pursuant to its procedure
for processing applications, wishes to obtain your comments before submitting its
recommendations to the Town of Newcastle General Purpose and Administration
Committee.
