SUBJECT: REZONING APPLICATION - PAUL LANGLEY
PART LOT 17, CONCESSION 10, FORMER TWP. OF DARLINGTON

RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD-60-86 be received; and
2. THAT the application submitted by Mr. Paul Langley, to rezone a parcel of land
located in Part Lot 17, Concession 10, former Township of Darlington to permit the
construction of a single family dwelling be received and referred to Staff for
processing and a subsequent report and public meeting.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
On February 20, 1986, the Planning Department received an application for rezoning from
Mr. P. Langley to permit the construction of a single family dwelling.
The application has been circulated, in accordance with departmental procedure, to various
agencies and Town departments for their comment. It is noted for the Committee 's
information that, pursuant to the requirements of the Planning Act , the application has
been scheduled for a public meeting April 21 , 1986.

Accordingly, it is recommended that the application be received for
information and referred back to Staff for the preparation of a subsequent
report .

The Town of Newcastle Planning and Development Committee is considering an
application for an amendment to Zoning By-law #84-63 and, pursuant to its procedure
for processing applications, wishes to obtain your comments before submitting its
recommendations to the Town of Newcastle General Purpose and Administration
Committee.
