SUBJECT: APPLICATION FOR REZONING - WESLEY OKE
PART LOT 32, CONCESSION 2, DARLINGTON

RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1 . That Report PD-100-85 be received; and
2. That an application submitted by Wesley Oke to rezone
a parcel of land in Part of Lot 32, Concession 2,
former Township of Darlington , by removing the (H)
Holding symbol from the "(H)R1" zone of said lands, be
received and referred to Staff for processing and a
subsequent report.

BACKGROUND:
On June 7, 1985, the Planning Department received an application
submitted by Mr. Wesley Oke to rezone a parcel of land located in
Part of Lot 32, Concession 2, former Township of Darlington (see
* attached). The submission of the rezoning application is to permit
the removal of the (H) Holding symbol from the "(H)R1" zone.
The application has been circulated to various agencies and Town
* departments for their comments, and attached is a copy of the
circulation letter and key plan for Council 's information.
It is recommended that the application be received for information
and referred back to Staff for a subsequent report. At such time
as the necessary circulation has been completed, Staff shall
schedule this application for a meeting of the General Purpose and
Administration Committee pursuant to the requirements of the
Planning Act. Staff note that, pursuant to Ontario Regulation
403/83, the removal of the (H) prefix does not require a prior
notice except to those land owners affected by the change nor is a
public meeting required. Notice will be provided to the applicant
in accordance with said regulations.
