PART LOTS 12 & 13, B.F.C., FORMER TOWN OF BOWMANVILLE OUR FILE: DEV 85-24 RECOMMENDATION: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1 . That Report PD-122-85 be received; and 2. That an application submitted by Pythbow Developments Ltd. to rezone a parcel of land in Part of Lots 12 and 13, Broken Front Concession to permit the development of a Shopping Mall and free standing retail store, be received and referred to Staff for processing and a subsequent report and public hearing. i i . . .2 I 1 REPORT NO. : PD-122-85 Page 2 BACKGROUND: On August 7, 1985, the Planning Department received an application submitted by Py thbow Developments Ltd. to rezone a parcel of land located in Part of Lots 12 and 13, Broken Front Concession, former * Town of Bowmanville (see attached) . The submission of the rezoning application is to permit the development of a Shopping Mall and free standing retail stores. The application has been circulated to various agencies and Town departments for their comments. It is recommended that the application be received for information and referred back to Staff for a subsequent report. At such time as the necessary circulation has been completed, Staff shall schedule this application for a public meeting of the General Purpose and Administration Committee pursuant to the requirements of the Planning Act. Staff would note for Committee's information that an Official Plan Amendment has been filed with the Regional Municipality of Durham and will be duly processed. Respectfully submitted, T. T.
