Subject: Lapsing of Draft Approval
Subdivision No. 18T- 76021
Municipality: Town of Newcastle
Dear Sirs:
Draft approval of the above subdivision will lapse on
December 30, 1985. If you are interested in pursuing
final approval please send us a request for draft
approval extension, with reasons, in advance of the
• lapsing date, with copies to the municipal and regional
planning departments. In order to identify any potential,
problems I recommend that you also discuss the extension
with the municipal planning department.
By a copy of this letter we are asking the municipality
and the region to advise us of their position on your
request. If we do not hear from them we will assume
they have no objection. If there are any concerns with
the requested extension we will contact you in advance
of the lapsing, date.
Please remember that once draft approval has lapsed, it
cannot be reinstated. A new application would have to
be submitted to the Region of Durham.
Yours truly
