THAT Report PD-171-85 be received; and 2. THAT the application submitted by Gordon Garrod to permit a residential use on a 7,169 sq.ft. parcel of land located in Part Lot 29, Concession 2, North Street, in the Village of Newcastle be received and referred to Staff for processing and a subsequent report and public hearing. I BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: On October 28, 1985 the Planning Department received an application submitted by Gordon Garrod for a rezoning to permit the construction of a residential building located within the "Environmental Protection (EP)" zone in Part of Lot 29, Concession 2, North j Street, in the Village of Newcastle. The application has been circulated to various agencies and Town Departments for their * comments and attached is a copy of the circulation letter, key map and comments from the Ganaraska Conservation Authority for Council ' s information. < . .2 i� fd5 REPORT NO. : PD-171-85 Page 2 It is recommended that the application be received for information and referred back to Staff for a subsequent report. At such time as the necessary circulation has been completed, Staff will schedule this application for a public meeting of the General Purpose and Administration Committee pursuant to the requirements of the Planning Act.
