THAT Report PD-173-85 be received; and 2. THAT an application submitted by Mr. Aldo Riva, agent, to rezone a parcel of land being Lot 96, Block 'N' , Grant Plan , Bowmanvi,lle, to permit the development of a Senior Citizen apartment building (52 units) , be received and referred to Staff for processing and a subsequent report and public hearing. BACKGROUND AND COMMENT: On November 4, 1985, the Planning Department received an application, submitted by Mr. Aldo Riva, agent, to rezone a parcel of land located in Lot 96, Block 'N' , Grant's Plan, * Bowmanville (see attached) . The submission of the rezoning application is to permit the development of a Senior Citizen apartment building (52 units) . The application has been circulated to various agencies and Town departments for their * comments (see attached) . Staff would note for the Committee' s information that the applicant has submitted, to the Region of Durham, an Official Plan Amendment application to permit the development. . . .2 REPORT NO. : PD-173-85 Page 2 It is recommended that the application be received for information and referred back to Staff for a subsequent report. At such time as the necessary circulation has been completed, Staff shall schedule this application for a public meeting of the General Purpose and Administration Committee pursuant to the requirements of the Planning Act.
