RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration
Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD-236-88 be received for information.
REPORT
1. Council, at its meeting on October 11, 1988 referred to Staff correspondence
dated September 27, 1988 from Mr. L. Sookraj of B.G. Schickedanz Investments
Limited requesting the opening of a Temporary Sales Office in Part of Lot
24, Concession 8, Township of Clarke (north of Kirby) . The sales office
will be used for a period between six (6) to nine (9) months and is intended
to market new homes to be constructed in the Lindsay area.
2. Staff reviewed the proposed use and noted that the property in question is
zoned "Special Purpose Commercial (C4)". The proposed Temporary Sales
Office is considered a permitted use within this zone. Accordingly, the
