SPECIAL COUNCIL
]HNUTES
A Special Meeting of Bowmanville Town Co~cil convened at 4:15
p.m. on Thursday June lS, .1964 at the Council Chambers, Town
Hall, with His Worship Mayor Ivan M. Hobbs in the Chair.
All members present.
His Worship explained that the meeting had been called to con-
sider the Storm Sewer Proje~~ to be effected under the Town's
Supplementary Roar Expenditure By-Law, and the Report of the
Roads and Streets Committee dated June 17th, 1964.

Following consideration ari discussion of the Report the fol-
lowing resolution was adolted.
Moved by Con. Hooper and L8s1ie:-
That the report of the Roads and Streets Committee dated
June 17th, 1964 be received and adopted and that subject to
Department of Highway, ApPI oval the liJorks Department be author-
ized to proceed with $7,lCO.00 worth of work on the Simpson
Avenue Storm Sewer Project.
Carried.
The meeting adjourned at 4:18 p.m. on motion of Councillors
Hughes and Reeve Little.

Minutes
The Roads & Streets Committee met June 17th, 1964 at 4:14 P.M.
Present: Reeve Little, Chairman, Mayor Hobbs, Councillors Hooper
and Rundle and T.K. Stewart, Works Superintendent.
1. - Moved by Con. Hooper, seconded by Mayor Hobbs.
THAT we engage a gradall to ditch Hunt Street from Nelson
to Albert Street.
CARRIED

Moved by Con. Rundle, seconded by Con. Hooper.
THAT we storm sewer
road east of Lycett
money permits.
Simpson Avenue from Culvert crossing
driveway north to Prince Street if
CARRIED
3. Moved by Con. Hooper, seconded by Con. Rundle.
THAT we engage Roberts truck from Peterborough to haul
~ravel from crusher to town yard at $1.05 of belt or
iii\1.25 per yard from stock pile. .
