SUBJECT: APPLICATION FOR REZONING - 464367 ONTARIO LIMITED
PART LOT 15, CONCESSION I, FORMER TWP. OF DARLINGTON

RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1 . That Report PD-60-85 be received; and
2. That an application submitted by 464367 Ontario
Limited to rezone a parcel of land in Part of Lot 15,
Concession 1, former Township of Darlington to permit
an Estate Residential development be received and
referred to Staff for processing and subsequent report
and public hearing.

BACKGROUND:
On March 28, 1985, the Planning Department received an application
submitted by Mr. B. Craig on behalf of 464367 Ontario Limited to
rezone a parcel of land located in Part of Lot 15, Concession 2,
* former Township of Darlington (see attached). The submission of
the rezoning application is in acknowledgement of previous
applications submitted for both an amendment to the Durham Regional
Official Plan and approval of a Draft Plan of Subdivision
(18T-85002) for the Estate Residential development.

The application has been circulated to various agencies and Town
* departments for their comments, and attached is a copy of the
circulation letter and key plan for Council 's information.
It is recommended that the application be received for information
and referred back to Staff for a subsequent report. At such time
as the necessary circulation has been completed, Staff shall
schedule this application for a public meeting of the General
Purpose and Administration Committee pursuant to the requirements
of the Planning Act.
