ZURBA PART LOTS 19 & 20, CONC. 7, FORMER TWP. OF DARLINGTON RECOMMENDATION: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following: 1 . That Report PD-91-85 be received ; and 2. That Council adopt the following resolution : "That the correspondence from Mr. A. Goheen be received and the Region of Durham Planning Department be advised that the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle has no objections to the extension of draft approval of Plan 18T-81023 as revised May 23, 1984, to July 9, 1986. 3. That the request in 2 above, be forwarded to the j Region of Durham Planning Department and Mr. A. Goheen be so advised. ig) i I . .,2 REPORT NO. : PD-91-85 Page 2 BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: * Staff received a copy of the attached letter addressed to the Region of Durham Planning Department, from Mr. A. Goheen, within which is requested approval of an extension in draft approval of Subdivision 18T-81023 located in Part of Lots 19 and 20, Concession 7, former Township of Darlington. The purpose for the requested extension is to enable the developer to negotiate the required subdivision agreement and to allow for additional time in order to satisfy the various conditions of draft approval . Staff would note for Committee's information that the applicant has held several meetings with the Works Department Staff in preparation of the required drawings and engineering approvals. Furthermore, Staff would note that the applicant has advised Planning Staff that the first submission of the draft agreement will be submitted shortly. In consideration of the above-noted comments, Staff would have no objections to the extension of draft approval for a further twelve (12) month period to July 9, 1986 with respect to Plan 18T-81023.
