That Report PD-97-85 be received; and * 2. That the attached by-law to amend By-law 84-63, as amended, be approved. BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: On May 28, 1984, the Council approved By-law 84-75 as an amendment to By-law 2111 of the former Township of Darlington. The subject by-law changed the zoning of a parcel of land subject of a draft approved plan of subdivision - Plan 18T-81015. By-law 84-75 came into effect without appeal and was the operative zoning for the subject lands when By-law 84-63 was passed in September, 1984. As part of the Council approval of By-law 84-63, Staff were directed to modify the text and schedules of By-law 84-63 to incorporate all draft approved plans of subdivision and all prior zoning amendments. This was done with respect to By-law 84-75, 01' . . .2 i�°1 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW NUMBER 85-__ being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, as amended, of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle. WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it advisable to amend By-law 84-63, as amended, of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle in order to correct an error contained in Schedule 4 to said by-law. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows: 1. Schedule "4" to By-law 84-63, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing to "R2" the zone designation of the lands designated "ZONE CHANGE TO "R2" on the attached Schedule 'X' hereto. 2. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of passing hereof, subject to the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act.
