SUBJECT: EXTENSION OF DRAFT PLAN APPROVAL
PLAN OF SUBDIVISION -18T-77001 � �.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the
following:
1 . That Report PD-26-84 be received ; and
2• That the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and
Housing be advised that the Town of Newcastle
has no objection to a further one (1 ) year
extension of the draft plan approval for Plan
of Subdivision 18T-77001 .

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:
On January 28, 1984 the draft plan approval in respect of
Plan of Subdivision 18T-77001 will expire.
On January 9, 1984, Council approved rezoning application
DEV 83-24. Inasmuch as staff are currently discussing a
subdivision agreement with the applicants, it would
therefore be appropriate to recommend extension of draft
plan approval for a further one (1 ) year period.
