KLOSE PART LOT 25, CONCESSION 5, TWP. OF CLARKE FILE: DEV 84-1 RECOMMENDATION: It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee recommend to Council the following : 1 , That Report PD-28-84 be received; and 2. That the application submitted by Mr. W. Klose of the Havelberg Dog Academy to rezone a 4.0 hectare (10.0 acres) parcel of land in Part of Lot 25, Concession 5, former Township of Clarke, to permit the use of the subject lands for the operation of an Exotic Cat Sanctuary, a Dog Training and Kennel Operation and a Recreation/Fitness Centre be referred to staff for processing and a subsequent report and public hearing. .. .2 c. .s REPORT NO. : PD-28-84 Page 2 BACKGROUND: I On January 6, 1984, the Planning Department received an application submitted by Mr. Wolfram Klose of the Havelberg Dog Academy to rezone a 4.0 hectare (10.0 acres) parcel of land located in Part of Lot 25, Concession 5, former * Township of Clarke (see attached map) . The purpose of the rezoning would permit the operation of an Exotic Cat Sanctuary, a Dog Training and Kennel Operation and a Recreation/Fitness Centre. The application has been circulated to various agencies and * Town departments for their comments, and attached is a copy of the circulation letter and key plan for Council 's information . It is recommended that the application be received for information and referred back to staff for a subsequent report. At such time as the necessary circulation has been completed, staff shall schedule this application for a public meeting of the General Purpose and Administration Committee pursuant to the requirements of the Planning Act . Staff would furthermore note for the Committee's information that an Official Plan Amendment : 83-4/D(102) - to accommodate the proposal was approved by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing on November 30, 1983.
