SUBJECT: MINISTRY OF NATURAL RESOURCES
ONTARIO BASIC MAP PROGRAM
MAPPING ASSISTANCE - FILE: Pln. 23.1
RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the
following:
1 . That Report PD-34-84 be received; and
2. That the Director of Planning and Purchasing
Agent prepare the necessary Tender for appoint-
ment of an agent to undertake and co-ordinate
the Town of Newcastle' s Ontario Basic Mapping
Project in accordance with the Ministry of
Natural Resources guidelines and
specifications.

Proposals for undertaking this project would be required to
contain firm prices broken down by fiscal year, inasmuch as
there are no allowances for adjustments at later dates . At
such time as the Tenders close, staff would seek Council
approval and awarding of the Tender, as well as
authorization to execute an agreement with the Ministry of
Natural Resources.
