RECOMMENDATION:
It is respectfully recommended to Council that
1 . That Report PD-99-84 be received; and
* 2. That the By-law attached to this Report to
amend Zoning By-law 1592, as amended, of the
former Township of Clarke, be approved.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
On March 5, 1984, the General Purpose and Administration
Committee considered Staff Report PD-57-84, which brought
forward a by-law to rezone a 1 .15 hectare (2.84 acre) parcel
of land in Part Lot 28, Concession 4, Clarke Township from
"A-Agricultural " and "HC-Highway Commercial " to "HC-Special
Provision 4". The intent of the By-law was to permit the
establishment of a recreational vehicle service facility on
the subject lands.
Report PD-57-84 recommended that the rezoning be approved,
but that the By-law to rezone the subject lands not be
forwarded to Council for approval until such time as a Site
Plan Agreement for the expanded recreational vehicle sales
outlet has been finalized to the satisfaction of Town Staff.
The recommendations in the Staff Report were approved by
Committee (Resolution #GPA-216-84) and subsequently approved
by Council on March 12, 1984 (Resolution #C-174-84) .
Staff note that an Agreement with All Seasons Holiday
Limited has now been finalized. To that end, Staff are now
bringing the By-law to rezone the subject lands forward for
Council approval . A minor revision to the original by-law
has been made to incorporate a minimum setback from lot
lines and buildings for the display area to respect Fire
Department access requirements.
