THAT the minutes of a meeting of Council held on
February 16th, 1970, be approved as printed.

THAT the minutes of a meeting of the Committee of
the Whale, held on February 23rd, 1970, be approved
as printed.

The Mayor appointed Councillor Prout, Reeve Dykstra
and Councillor Cobban to the Committee as required
by Resolution #CW-84.

THAT the minutes of a Special meeting of the Committee
of the Whole held on February 24th, 1970, be approved

committee be appointed to investigate the matter and

rHAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign an
agreement to convey 3.719 acres of Industrial land.

Councillor Hooper reported to Council that he had
advised the Police Association that there was no
point in having a further meeting at the present
time regarding the wage agreement, as they had made
no reply to the offer of $7.28.00 per annum plus other
fringe benefits and it was assumed that it had been
rejected. He also advised that the negotiating
committee was withdrawing the offer on the basis of
non-acceptance by the Association.
nayor Hobbs reported on a letter which he had received
from the Honourable Stanley J. Randall concerning
clarification of a misquotation which had been made
in the local newspapers. It was agreed that this be
filed in the Clerk-Administrator's office.
