THAT the minutes of a meeting of Council held on April 20th, 1970, be approved as printed. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-28l Moved by Deputy Reeve Stephen, seconded by Con. Allin. THAT the minutes of a meeting of the Committee of the Whole, held on April 27th, 1970, be approved as printed. "CARRIED" Resolution ~C-282 Moved by Con. Allin, seconded by Con. Cobban. THAT no action be taken regarding the request of the Board of Management of the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church to erect street lights, as the church is located in Darlington Township. Bridges Re Road Condi tions Strathaven Nursing Home Open House Lions Club Request To Have Council Meetings One Half Hour Later Lions Club Request Memorial Park e - 2 - With regard to the selection of a committee to inspect the arena washrooms, the Mayor appointed Councillor Allin, Reeve Dykstra and Councillor Prout. With regard to the selection of a committee to study the request of Cable T.V. to locate cables, etc., on municipal property, the Mayor appointed Deputy Reeve Stephen, Councillor HUbbard and Councillor Hooper. With regard to the selection of a committee to review the specifications of the proposed new fire pumper, the Mayor appointed Councillor Hooper, Councillor Prout, and Councillor Cobban. THAT a letter Of thanks for the invitation to visit the Strathaven Nursing Home be sent and as many members of Council who can possibly attend the Open House, do so. "CARRIED" . THAT as the matter of the request of the Lions Club to change the time for Council meetings, has previously been discussed, the letter be received and filed. THAT the request of the Memorial Park Association for permission to held their Annual Tag Day on Friday, June 4th from 6:60 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday, June 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., be approved if there is no confliction with any other approved dates.
