Bowmanville, Ontario Minutes Agreement re shed property Fire Dept. re salary increase Minutes of a regular meeting of Council held in the Council Chambers on the above date at 8:00 p.m. with His Worship Mayor Ivan M. Nicks Absent : Councillor Resolution #C-128 Moved by Con. Bourke, seconded by Con. Chant. THAT the minutes of the Council meeting held on February 21, 1966 be approved. "CARRIED" Mr. Harold Wheeler who resides at West Beach requested Council to begin a garbage pick-up at the West Beach. There had been no pick-up since Christmas, he informed Council and as a resi- dent of Bowmanville, he felt entitled to it. Mr. Wheeler com- plained of the number of dogs running loose in the area and requested some dog control on the beach. Council advised Mr. Wheeler that the Finance Committee would be considering a similar request for garbage service in West Beach and the matter of the dogs was referred to the Dog Control Committee. THAT Council enter into an agreement with the Board of Trustees of Trinity United Church to lease the land on Church Street, referred to as the shed property, for a period of thirty years at an annual r&iltal of $1.00, said land to be used for parking purposes.
