Adjournment
A special meeting of Council was held in the Town Hall on the
above date at 8:10 p.m. for the purpose of receiving a Report
on matters affecting the operation of the waterworks and
sewage systems, prepared by T. J. Plunkett Associates Ltd.
Present:

Messrs T. J. Plunkett, Lionel Feldman and George Bell attended
the meeting to discuss with Council the Report.

THAT the Public Utilities Commission be invited to attend a
meeting with Council for the purpose of negotiating the return
of the waterworks and sewage systems to the management and
control of Council.

THAT it is the intent of the former motion that the elected
members of the two bodies meet.

THAT the Municipality of the Town of Bowmanville agree to
guarantee to the Bank of Montreal the amount of $13,000.00
that the Kinsmen Club of BO\'ll'1anville will borro\v to cover the
cost of renovations to the Memorial Arena.
