Mrs. Victoria Frank spoke to Council again on the damages to
her property caused by a back up of sewage in 1967. Mrs.
Frank estimated the amount of the damages as being between
$700 and $800.

THAT the Public Utilities Commission be requested to
reconsider the circumstances of ro1rs. Franks complaints
that the insurance company be advised to this effect.

THAT Council agree to the following proposals made by the
Department of Highways:
1. The transfer to the Town of Bowmanville after construction
of the new highway from Scugog Street to Martin Road in
preparation for the designation of this new road as a
Connecting Link.
2. The transfer to the Town of Bowmanville of the new connecting
road between the new highway and Waverley Road.
3. The reversion of those portions of old Highway No. 2 to
the Town of Bowmanville which are to remain open and in
use.
