Minutes of a Special Meeting of Council held in the Town
Hall on the above date at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of
considering the 1968 Estimates.

THAT the minutes of the Board of Works Committee meeting
held on April 1, 1968, be approved as printed.

THAT the prior resolution be amended as follows:
THAT all salaried employees including Department heads be
given a 10% increase in salary excluding the Chief Constable.
After the arbitration results between the Corporation of the
Town of Bowmanville,and the Bowmanville Police Association
are known, the Chief Constable's salary will be amended and
made retroactive to January 1, 1968. The foregoing will be
discussed at the first Board of Works meeting after the
results of arbitration are known.

THAT provision for a salary adjustment be made for the Chief
of Police after result of the Police Arbitration award is
known.

by-law to adopt the estimates of all sums required during the
year and to strike the rates of taxation for the year 1968
