May 21, 1968
Minutes of a regular meeting of Council held in the Town
Hall on the above date at 7:30 p.m.

held on May 13, 1968 be approved as printed.

Mr. Wealey Fice appeared to advise Council that on March 10th
laat, his wife had an accident on King Street Eaat which
ruined a tire and put the car out of alignment. Mr. Fice
claimed that the accident was caused by a large hole in the
road pavement. He felt that the Town should carry insurance
to meet small claims arising out of such accidents.
Mr. Archie Hoskin requested Council why he was not given a
salary increase comparable to hourly employees.

THAT Councillors Coombes and Fry, with the Clerk, meet with
Mr. Hoskin to clarify any confusion arising out of the
salary paid to him.

their annual Church Parade on Sunday June 23, 1968 be
approved and the Police Department be notified accordingly.

with respect to any permission granted in the past to
Mr. Cliff Pethick to use his residence as a base for the
carrying on of a business to sell water and if not ~-
plete to refer the matter to Strike & Strike and report back
to the next Board of Works Conmittee meeting.
