Minutes of a Special Meeting of Council held in the
Court Building on the above date at 7:00 p.m.

THAT the minutes of the Public Works COIIlI1Iittee meeting
held on the above date be accepted as printed.

THAT the next regular meeting of Council be held on
Tuesday September 3, 1968 commencing at 8:00 p.m.

THAT the Report dated August 26, 1968 on the appointment
of an operator for the parks equipment be adopted.

Councillor Coombes expressed an interest and asked to
be excused from voting on the preceding motion.

THAT the lowest tender submitted by Oshawa Paving Limited
in the amount of $23,736.20 for the reconstruction of
Church Street between Temperance and Division Streets
be accepted and subject to the approval of the Department
of Highways, the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign
the contract.

ments in the amount of $4,550.00 for the purchase of
a lot at 12 Lambs Lane be accepted.

THAT the appointment of the Clerk (as Industrial Spokes-
