Minutes of a regular meeting of Council, held on the
above date in the Court Room at 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Tom Gould addressed Council on the hazard school
children encounter on Scugog Street between Mill
Lane and Fourth Street. He also requested that
Council investigate a water problem he has in front
of his property.

THAT a committee of three be appointed to investigate
Mr. Gould's complaints and determine the responsibility
in this connection of the County and the Town.

THAT Van Ro Painting &. Decorators be requested to
withdraw their present contract for the painting
of the bol:tom half of the Town Hall so that new
tenders may be called for the entire Town Hall
along with screening and for the painting of the
Works Department Garage and Dog Pound; and that
a committee of two be appointed to draw up
specifical:ions wil:h the building inspector so
that advertisements for tenders may be called and
opened at the Council meeting of October 6, 1969.
