THAT the minutes of Council dated September 2nd, 1969, be approved after amending Resolution #C-45S by interchanging the words "Controller" and "Administrator. tI "CARRIED" Resolul:ion #C-S03 Moved by Con. Prout, seconded by Con. McKnight. THAT the minutes of a meeting of the Committee of the Whole, dated September 2nd, 1969, be approved as printed. "CARRIED" Resolution #C-S04 Moved by Con. Coombes, seconded by Con. Prout. THAT the minutes of a meeting of the Committee of the Whole, dated September 8th, 1969, be approved as printed. "CARRIED" Mr. Tom Gould addressed Council on the hazard school children encounter on Scugog Street between Mill Lane and Fourth Street. He also requested that Council investigate a water problem he has in front of his property. Resolution #C-SOS Moved by Con. Dykstra, seconded by Con. Shackelton. THAT a committee of three be appointed to investigate Mr. Gould's complaints and determine the responsibility in this connection of the County and the Town. THAT Council proceed with sanitary sewers under Alternate A as outlined in a letter from Proctor & Redfern Limited dated July 29, 1969, and that this be included in the 1970 forecast of capital works. THAT the Building Inspector attend the Ontario Building Officials Association Convention in Cornwall, Ontario on October 15, 16, and 17, 1969. Decorators be requested to withdraw their present contract for the painting of the bol:tom half of the Town Hall so that new tenders may be called for the entire Town Hall along with screening and for the painting of the Works Department Garage and Dog Pound; and that a committee of two be appointed to draw up specifical:ions wil:h the building inspector so that advertisements for tenders may be called and opened at the Council meeting of October 6, 1969.
