THAT the petition submitted by Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Woodward
relative to construction of a storm sewer on Prospect
Street, under the Local Improvements Act, be tabled and
presented to the 1970 Council.

Mr. K. Hooper, Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission,
appeared before Council to point out to Council that the
action taken by Council under Resolution #C-625, in allowing
the Developer of the Waver ley Garden Subdivision to drain the
weeping tiles of certain houses into the Sanitary Sewer, was
contrary to the provisions of By-Law No. 878.

THAT a letter be sent to the P.U.C. expressing Council's
regret for their action in dealing with the above matter
without the approval of the P.U.C., and asking the P.U.C.
to concur with their action in this instance with the

within the jurisdiction of the P.U.C., be forwarded to
that Commission.

Mr. A. Yeo, 16 Saunders Avenue, appeared before Council
complaining of the lead-ins for Cable T.V. on Saunders
Avenue, which were, in his opinion, spoiling the
aesthetics of the subdivision which had underground
services installed.

THAT Council concur with the recommendation of the Planning
Board to request Proctor & Redfern to be more specific
in their reasons for recommending the maps and also to
present a formula of the recovery of the expenditures
from the parties who, they feel, would make use of these
maps.

THAT Council approve of a request from Mr. G. W. Mutton,
Chairman of the Kinsmen Club of Bowmanville to use the
Old Fire Hall for an auction sale on November 29, 1969,
in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation provided the
Town still owns the Hall on this date and provided that
the Club makes arrangements to have the hall heated.

dated November 13, 1969, be approved subject to his
providing a written guarantee and a bond that the
asphalting and curbs be constructed by June 15, 1970, and

must be carried out strictly in accordance with the
Subdivision Agreement.
