Darlington Township Council met in the Council Chamber
on this date , all members present, Reeve Rickard presiding.
73-2B-1 Moved by Councillors Wearn and Tink that the minutes of
the meeting held February 6, 1973 be adopted as presented.
73-2B-2 Moved by Councillors Dallas and Baker that Municipal
Planning Consultants Ltd. be requested to proceed with a
review of the Zoning By-law and Official Plan and to
complete a presentation to Council as soon as possible.
73-2B-3 Moved by Councillors Baker and Wearn that improvement
to two Canadian Pacific Railway bridges , as proposed in a
letter from C. P. Rail dated Feb. 14, 1973, is approved by
this Council.
73-2B-4 Aoved by Councillors Baker and Dallas that Deputy-Reeve Tink
assume the chair during the temporary absence of Reeve
Rickard from the meeting.
73-2B-5 Moved by Councillors Baker and Wearn that tenders for
sale of an F.W.D. truck be received and opened.
73-2B-6 Moved by Councillors Baker and ','earn that the tender of
Ackerman Excavation for an F.W.D. truck, snow plow and wing
be accepted as tendered.
73-2B-7 Moved by Councillors Baker and ['earn that a statement
of proposed expenditures for Public Transportation and
Highway Improvement in the Township of Darlington in 1973,
as presented to this meeting is adopted by this Council.
73-2B-8 i'loved by Councillors Baker and Wearn that accounts for the
month of January and February, 1973 as listed herewith,
be paid:

73-2B-9 Moved by Counci114s Wearn and Baker that Proctor Redfern
are advised to deal directly with Oshawa P.U.C. regarding
possible services for Oshawa Harness 'Management, and that it
is requested that copies of all correspondence be forwarded
to this office.

73-2B-10 Moved by Councillors Dallas and Baker that a report
of the Finance Committee be referred to Committee of the
Whole.
73-2B-11 Moved by Councillors Baker and Wearn that a report of
the Road Committee presented to this meeting be adopted.
73-2B-12 Moved by Councillors Baker and Dallas than an application
for a Tile Drain Loan on part of lot 17 & 18 , Concession 1,
is approved by this Council.
73-2B-13 Moved by Deputy-Reeve Tink and Councillor Baker that
flowers be sent to Miss i4iddery.
73-2B-14 Moved by Councillor Dallas and Deputy-Reeve Tink that
the Finance Committee of Feb. 14 and 17 rgbrt be adopted as
given and that the Finance Chairman present it to the employees.
73-2B-15 Aoved by Deputy-Reeve Tink and Councillor Baker that
Council adjourn.
