Darlington Township Council met in the Council
Chamber on this date, Deputy-Reeve Tink, presiding,
Councillors Dallas, Baker and Wearn present.
73-3-1 Moved by Councillors Dallas and Baiter that the minutes
of the meeting held February 20, 1973 be adopted as
circulated.
73-3-2 Moved by Councillors Baker and Dallas that Roads Accounts
as listed on Voucher No. 4, dated March 1, 1973, in the
amount of ? 4,679.84 be paid.
73-3-3 loved by Councillors Dallas and Wearn that any member
of Council wishing to attend a meeting of the Advisory
Task Force on housing is authorized to attend.
73-3-4 coved by Councillors Baker and Wearn that an appeal
frog the Canadian Red Cross Society be referred to the
finance committee with power to act.
73-3-5 Moved by Councillors Baker and 'A;earn that a report of
the :roads Committee dated - arch 6, 1973 is adopted.
73-3-6 - oved by Councillors Dallas and '-'earn whereas this
Council, on the advice of its Planning Consultant,
plans to encourage some limited residential development
adjacent to some existing residential hamlets , it is
therefore the intention of Council to amend the
Zoning By-law so that some residential plans of
sub-division can be considered in locations adjacent
to the hamlets of Enniskillen and Solina, subject to
draft plan approval of a subdivision plan served by a
central water supply, evidence of approval of health
authorities , and to the sub-divider entering into a
sub-division agreement, satisfactory to this Township
prior to the registration of the plan.
73-3-7 -Moved by Councillors 'r.earn and Dallas that J. Dunham,
Road Superintendent is authorized to attend the T.J.
Mahoney hoad School May 6 to •lay 9, 1973-
73-3-8 Moved by Councillors Dallas and Wearn that a tender
for supply of heating fuel, lubricants and motor fuel
submitted by Shell Canada Ltd. , is accepted as tendered.
73-3-9 Moved by Councillors Wearn and Dallas that the Clerk
advise the Secretary `-reasurer of Hampton Cemetery
Board that this Township is not at present in a position
t� undertake the management of Hampton Cemetery.
73-3-30911 On Totion, a by-law to amend By-law 2111 , as amended,
was given first and second readings.
73-3-12 'loved by Councillors Dallas and Wearn that rule 33 be
suspended for the duration of this meeting.
73-3-13 Un notion a By-law to amend By-law 2111 , as amended,
was read a third time , signed, sealed and n-:mbered 2508.

73-3-14 Moved by Councillors Dallas and bearn that the
Deputy-Reeve and Clerk are authorized to execute
a release from the terms of agreement No. N22699.
73-3-15 '.loved by Councillors Dallas and Wearn that the
following items are referred to the Property Committee
for report:
1. Ambrose proposal for approval of disposal site.
2. St. .-ary' s Cement 'o. - proposal to erect a pier.
73-3-16 :Moved by Councillors Dallas and Wearn that this meeting
adjourn.
