Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building on
this date, all Members present, Reeve Rickard presiding.
73-73-1 Moved by Councillors Baker and Dallas that the minutes of the
meeting held July 3, 1973 , be adopted as presented.
73-7B-2 Moved by Councillors Dallas and Baker that Accounts for the
month of June, 1973, as listed herewith, be paid :

73-73-3 Moved by Deputy Reeve Tink and Councillor Wearn that Bernard
Huxter of the Zion Community Centre hoard is hereby authorized to make
application to Darlington Committee of Adjustment for permission to
locate a building on Zion Community Park.
Deputy Reeve Tink assumed the Chair.
73-7B-4 Moved by Councillors Baker and Wearn that the Clerk is instructed
to contact the Township' s Planning Consultant and direct him to complete
revisions to the Official Plan and Zoning 3y-law for Council' s next
meeting.
73-73-5 Moved by Councillors Baker and Wearn that the Reeve and the
Clerk are appointed to a Steering Committee as recommended by the
Department in connection with Regional Government organization.
73-73-6 Moved by Councillors Wearn and 3aker :
Whereas the Council of the Township of Darlington diems it
expedient to apply for a loan under the Winter Capital Projects Fund as
described in the Memorandum of the Treasurer of Ontario dated March 1 , 1973,
in respect of the following project , namely DARLINGTON SPORTS CEFdTRE
hereinafter referred to as the "Project" ,
And Whereas the project is, in the opinion of the Council, a
municipal project within the meaning of the above-mentioned Memorandum;
And Whereas the project would be additional to what was
contemplated or planned previously by the Council through to May 31, 1975;
And Whereas the other requirements of the above-mentioned
Memorandum have been complied with
Now Therefore be it resolved that application be made to the
Treasurer of Ontario for a loan in the amount of $550,000.00 to assist in
the financing of the project under the �dinter Capital Projects Fund.
73-73-7 Moved by Councillors Wearn and Dallas that this Council now
adjourn to Friday, July 20, 1973, at 7 P.M.
