Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building
on this date, all i'•embers present, Reeve Rickard presiding.
73-8-1 Moved by Deputy Reeve Tink and Councillor 3aker that the minutes
of the meetings held July 17 , and July 20, 1973, be adopted as prepared.
73-8-2 Moved by Councillors Baker and Wearn that Roads Department
vouchers No. 14, $3468.26 and No. 15, $7840.83, are approved for
payment by the Roads Committee.
73-8-3 Moved by Councillors Dallas and Baker that Rule 33 be suspended
for the duration of this meeting.
73-8-4,5 s 6. On motions as filed a 3y-law to levy a Special irate under the
provision of Section 304(2) of the Municipal Act, was given its several
readings , signed, sealed and numbered 2517.
73-8-7 Moved by Councillor Baker and Deputy Reeve Tink that this
Council requests Ontario Hydro to reconsider the proposed location of
its new transmission line, and to allow more time for consideration
of the proposal , so that additional information can be obtained.
73-8-8 Moved by Councillors Baker and Wearn that the Treasurer be
instructed to write off taxes totalling $52. 50 as shown on the
attached list dated August 3, 1973.
73-8-9 Moved by Councillors Baker and Wearn that this meeting adjourn.
