THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW NO. 2003- 076
being a by-law to authorize an application to be made to Council as the approving
authority under the Expropriation Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.E.26 for the approval of the
expropriation of all interests in the lands described as 774 Martin Road, Parts 14 and
15, 10R-234, Part Lot 15, Broken Front Concession, former Township of Darlington, for
the purposes of a community park.
WHEREAS at its meeting on May 26, 2003, Council approved Report PSD-059-03 which
recommended the enactment of this By-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCil OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOllOWS:
1. That Council hereby authorizes an application to be made to the Council of the
Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington as the approving authority under
subsection 4(1) of the Expropriations Act, R.S.O. 1990 c.E.26, as amended, for the
approval of the expropriation of all interests in the lands described as 774 Martin Road,
Parts 14 and 15, 10R-234, Part Lot 15, Broken Front Concession, former Township of
Darlington, for the purposes of a community park.
2. That Council hereby authorize staff to take all necessary actions to serve notice of its
application for approval to expropriate upon the owners of the land to be expropriated
and to publish the aforesaid notice in accordance with subsection 6( 1) of the
Expropriations Act.
