REPORT TO SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 11, 2014
SUBJECT: GENERAL PURPOSE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE MEETING
OF MONDAY, JUNE 9, 2014
RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. EXEMPTION TO THE REFRESHMENT VEHICLE BY-LAW 2014-114
THAT the refreshment vehicle vendors participating in the Bowmanville Business
Improvement Area's SummerFest event, to be held in downtown Bowmanville,
June 12 to 14, 2014, be exempt from the requirements of the Refreshment Vehicle
By-law 2004-114 Section 13(a) to allow for the operation of refreshment vehicles
within 60 metres of any other eating establishment, whether permanent or
temporary.
