BY-LAW NUMBER 2002- 196
being a By-law to authorize a Purchase Agreement between the Corporation of
the Municipality of Clarington and Kiddicorp Investments Ltd. in respect to the
purchase of Block 77, 10M-784 and Part 1, 10R-2728, Part Lot 15, Concession
1, former Township of Darlington, Municipality of Clarington
WHEREAS, the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.M.45, S.191(1) states that the Council of
every corporation may pass by-laws for acquiring or expropriating any land required for
the purposes of the Corporation;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Council of the Corporation of the
Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows:
1. That the Mayor and the Clerk are hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the
Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington, with the Corporate Seal, a
Purchase Agreement between Kiddicorp Investments Ltd. and said Corporation.
2. That the attached map shall form part of this By-law.
BY-LAW read a first time this 25th day of November 2002
BY-LAW read a second time this 25th day of November 2002
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 25th day of November 2002
