THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 2004- 015
Being a By-law to amend By-law 83-83, as amended and
to repeal By-law 2001-006 to constitute a Committee of
Adjustment for the Municipality of Clarington pursuant to
the Planning Act 1983.
WHEREAS Section 44 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, provides that the Council the
Municipality may pass by-laws to constitute and appoint a Committee of Adjustment;
AND WHEREAS pursuant to Section 43 of the Planning Act 1983, the Council of the
former Town of Newcastle did on June 13, 1983, enact By-law 83-83, constituting a
Committee of Adjustment for the Municipality of Clarington;
AND WHEREAS Section 11 of By-law 83-83 designated certain persons as being
appointed to the Committee of Adjustment for the Municipality of Clarington;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF CLARINGTON HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Section 11 of By-law Number 83-83 be deleted and the new
Section 11 substituted therefore:
Section 11: The following persons are hereby appointed Members of the
Committee of Adjustment for the Municipality of Clarington for a term
concurrent with the term of the appointing Council or until a successor is
appointed:
John Bellman
Ellen Cowan
Craig Greentree
Jean-Michel Komarnicki
Harold St. Croix
Ralph Tukker
2. THAT By-law 2001-006 is hereby repealed.
BY-LAW read a first and second time this 19th day of January 2004.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 19th day of January 2004.
