THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 2003-178
being a by-law to establish the Members of
Council as Chairmen of Departments and to repeal
By-law 97-257
THE COUNCil OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
ClARINGTON HEREBY ENACTS AS FOllOWS:
1. THAT the following members of council of the Municipality of Clarington
be designated as the Chairman of a Department as follows:
(a) Planning Services Department - Jim Schell
(b) Engineering Services Department - Don MacArthur
(c) Operations Department - Charlie Trim
(d) Emergency Services Department - Pat Ping Ie
(e) Community Services Department - Gord Robinson
(f) Municipal Clerk's Department - Adrian Foster
(g) Corporate Services Department - John Mutton
(h) Finance Department - John Mutton
(i) Administration - John Mutton
2. THAT John Mutton act as Vice-Chair of each Department and chair that
portion of the General Purpose and Administration Committee Meeting in
the absence of the Chair;
3. THAT By-law 97-257 is repealed; and
4. THAT this by-law take effect immediately on passing thereof.
By-law read a first and second time this 1 st day of December 2003.
