THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 2001-010
Being a By-law to repeal By-laws 98-10 and 99-156 and to appoint Members to the
Local Architectural Advisory Committee for the Municipality of Clarington
WHEREAS Section 28 of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.0. 1990, Chapter 0.18 states that:
"The Council of a municipality may by By-law establish a Local Architectural Conservation
Advisory Committee composed of not fewer than five members appointed by the Council to
advise and assist the Council on all matters relating to this Part and Part V, R.S.O. 1990,
C.337, 5.28 parts."
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY
OF CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee is
hereby established and the following persons are hereby appointed to
the Local Architectural Conservation Advisory Committee for a
term concurrent with the term of the appointed Council or until a
Successor is appointed:
Corey E. Barr
Mavis Carlton
Paul W. Fish
Karina Isert
Karen Murphy
Andrew Osborne
Franco Scanga
Anthony Skinner
Victor Suppan
Councillor Don MacArthur
Councillor Jane Rowe
2. THAT By-laws 98-10 and 99-156 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first and second time this 15' day of January, 2001.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 15' day of January, 2001.
