BY-LAW NO. 2002- 121
being a by-law to authorize the execution of an agreement on behalf of the
Municipality of Clarington, Claret Investments Ltd. and 1361189 Ontario
Limited respecting costs associated with the exercise of an Option to
Purchase by the Municipality Part 1 on Plan 40R-13921
WHEREAS at is meeting on June 24, 2002 Council approved the recommendations
contained in Report#PSD-074-02 entitled "Option to purchase Future Detention Pond
Site from Macourtice Developments Inc.";
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington
enacts as follows:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the
Municipality of Clarington an agreement between Claret Investments Ltd. and
1361189 Ontario Limited and said Corporation as recommended in Report
#PSD-074-02 respecting payment of costs incurred by the Municipality
associated with the exercise of the Municipality's Option to Purchase Part 1 on
Plan 40R-13921.
