RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following:
l. THAT Report PD-28-86 be received; and
2. THAT the application submitted by Yel tri and Son Limited, to r8ZO0e d parcel of
land located in Part Lot 35, C0ACeSSiOU 5, former Township of Darlington t0 permit
the development of a node/cluster, be received and referred to Staff for prVC8sSiDU
and a subsequent report and public hearing.
BACKGROUND AN0 COMMENT:
On January 9, 1986, the Planning Department received an application for rezoning from
� Vel tri and 50O Limited which seeks to have Blocks "F« and nG" (See attached d(8tCh) Z0O8d
"Residential Cluster".
The application has been circulated, in accordance With departmental procedure, t0 V8riVUS
agencies and Town departments for their comment. It is noted for the Committee' s
information that, pursuant t0 the requirements of the Planning Act, the application has
been scheduled for 8 public meeting March 17, 1986.

The Town of Newcastle Planning and Development Committee is considering an
application for an amendment to Zoning By-law #84-63 and, pursuant to its procedure
for processing applications, wishes to obtain your comments before submitting its
recommendations to the Town of Newcastle General Purpose and Administration
Committee.

of a Node/Cluster for residential development
