SUBJECT: REVIEW OF ZONING BY-LAW 122-85
CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF OSHAWA

RECOMMENDATIONS:
It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and Administration Committee
recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD-6-86 be received; and
2. THAT Zoning By-law 122-85 of the City of Oshawa be received and filed.
BACKGROUND AND COMMENT:
Zoning By-law 122-85 of the City of Oshawa was forwarded to the Planning Department on
December 3, 1985. The subject By-law would permit the implementation of a Plan of
Subdivision 18T-82008 which consists of twenty-one (21) residential lots for single family
dwellings and to preserve lands south and west of the said subdivision plan for open space
purposes. The said subdivision plan is located west of Townline Road South and south of
Olive Avenue within the City of Oshawa.
Staff have reviewed the subject by-law and it would appear to have no detrimental effect
on the Town of Newcastle. Therefore, no further action on this by-law is required. The

last day for filing objections to the Ontario Municipal Board was December
20, 1985. A copy of the By-law is available for review at the Planning
Department offices in Hampton.
