Discussion on changing Parade from Non-Commercial to Commercial
The Bowmanville Parade needs to go the Commercial route as it is getting harder to obtain
floats and fillers for parade day. After some discussion it was decided that we would go this
route.
Motion: "To turn Parade into a Commercial Parade as opposed to a Non
Commercial Parade"

How do we now go about informing the Public that we are now Commercial?
• Website— make changes on the Website
• Sponsor Letters—Send out Letters to Sponsors informing them of the changes. Terryl
to up date Sponsor letter to reflect this change.
• Guidelines—these will need to be updated. Kathy to update these and bring to next
meeting.
• All entrants will now be required to have a Christmas theme
