STEVENS This applicant wishes to build a house on the south side of Concession Street Extension in Bowmanvillee His land is presently zoned Open Space and the by-law would not permit a house on his parcel. His land was mistakenly shown as Hazard Land on the approved Official Plan for Bowmanville, although a large part of his lot actually lies on top of the bank of the nearby drainage course and is not in the flood plain. This fact has been confirmed by the Conservation 24uthority. The land across Concession Street is already designated Estate Residential. Before any rezoning can take place, an amendment is needed to correct the error made in the original Official Plan, I am recommending,therefore, that Council submit the attached Official Plan Amendment to the Region for adoption.
