Minutes of a Special meeting of Coilllcil held
in the Bell Building Corrmi ttee Room on
Monday, April 28 1980 at 2 p.m. for the
purpose of meeting with consultants relative
to the Growth Management Study
Present were:
Mayor Garnet B. Rickard
Councillor Keith D. Barr till 4 p.m.

Town Clerk, J. M. McIlroy
Absent:

Director of Corrmilllity Services, T. A. Fanning
Director of Planning, D. N. Smith
Director of Public Works, J. Dunham
Representing Ontario Hydro - Miss Alonna Quinn

Mr. Frank H. Clayton, President of Clayton Research
Associates Ltd., appeared before Council to explain his
proposal on Growth Management Study and answer questions.
Mr. B. Wolfman and Mr. Raynx:md Simpson of Currie, Coopers,
Lybrand Ltd. appeared before Council in a similar capacity.

'!HAT it be recarmended to next Council meeting that
the firm of Currie, Coopers and Lybrand be returned to
prepare the Growth ManagEment Study at a fee not to
exceed $35,000 and expenses not to exceed $2000.
