Spry Carnnmications I '-' -2- April 8 1980 Mr. Sam Cureatz, M.P.P. appeared before Council and spoke on various matters including Pine Ridge School and also extending of the Go-Transit System further eastwards. He indicated also that arrangements have been made for Council to meet again with the Honourable Douglas Wiseman at 4 p.m. on April 24th 1980. Mr. J. Wayne Aasen appeared before Coilllcil regarding Jaycees Bowmanville Week from June 27th to July 5th 1980 and requested the Town's pennission to hold the event on the south-east corner of Baseline Road and Caristrap Street, Bowmanville. He indicated that pennission would have to be granted by the Town so that the organization could apply for a liquor licence. Mr. Sinon Feddana of the Durham Christian High School student council appeared before Coilllcil to advise them of a proposed Work-a-Thon one day in the spring and two days in the fall. The object was for the students to do various jobs in the Town to help defray certain improvEments to the High School. Mr. W. J. Spry appeared before Council to request them not to appeal against a severence granted to him on Lot 8, Concession 6, Tyrone (See Report #7, Director of Planning report PD-60-80 - Consent Applications 10 83/80 and LD 84/80, dated March 26 1980).
