It is respectfully recommended that the General Purpose and
Administration Committee recommend to Council the following:
1. THAT Report PD-84-91 be received for information.
1 . BACKGROUND:
1 . 1 With respect to the Building Permit Activity for the month of
March, 1991 Staff wish to highlight the following statistics for
the information of Committee and Council.

1 .2 Commercial permits this month consist of a $650,000 . addition to
the Shell Canada Service Station and Restaurant at Highway 401 and
Waverley Road. Two restaurants, Harvey's and Swiss Chalet plus
14 ,000 square feet of retail floor space on Highway # 2 in the
Courtice area make up $1,243, 000. in construction value, thus
providing a total of $1,893,000 . for the month of February.

provided in the attached tables .
